November 29, 2022 - LA-based Canadian artist, Shanchoy, has released the lyric video for her ethereal, downtempo single Song for October.  

This single uses a combination of melody, harmony and dramatic instrumentation to create an atmosphere of bittersweet emotion, yearning to belong and the deep desire to reconnect.  

This song was produced in Los Angeles by Lucas Fackler of Idylmind. Lucas is a talented multi-instrumentalist, electronic musician and producer with a talent for creating atmospheric soundscapes. 

The lyric video was produced by Hannah Ferber of Idylmind, a talented singer-songerwiriter and videographer 

This is the first of an exciting series of releases set for 2023, that will feature Shanchoy’s haunting vocals and songwriting with an earnest touch. She has previously been featured on tracks by Hatiras and Genetix and she grew up performing traditional Bengali music throughout Southern Ontario, Canada.
